Slow Progress.. The Porch

I stuck a piece of cardboard upon my wall as a kind of to do list. "Porch" is on the list. I have a box of compact discs (remember those) and a compact disc player that will play 200  discs. I think the two should go together. There's some stuff that simply needs to go out for anyone to pick up, including the rubbish collectors. Yeah, they have some sentimental value, even though I claim not to be sentimental. Guess I'll just put them out.

The current state of the Porch.

I have to find a place to donate stuff.. or maybe even try Craig's list, if that is even still a thing. I know.. maybe I'll put some ads up in U-City near the campuses... maybe some hipster retro kids might want to give me a few bucks for it... the cd player that is. They might be into some other electronics too.

Okay. Glad I wrote this out. Now all I have to do it do it. Box of books... to the used book store... shouldn't be a problem I guess. Last time I was there they seemed to have a shitload of books... almost too many. Just want to get them somewhere so I don't have to throw them out.

Oh, by the way.. did I mention the tools. My brother and I were both mechanics... which is a skill now known as "automotive technician" because cars have changed... anyway I've got a box of sockets and such.. old school tools that can go as well. Might be able to get a few bucks for them. I might just need to start  advertising.
