Released

One of my neighborhood brothers got released from prison today.

The end, perhaps of a long, costly journey that started out, (for me) with a long convoluted story.

Short story, he did it. He got released early on parole, but somehow messed that up.

I don't even remember how long he's been in. I'm glad he's out. It took its toll.

Worth mentioning as I make my departure.
