One Month down - 11 To Go

I don't have much to say.

I haven't been counting the days, but it's been about 30, since i started the countdown.

This meme showed up today and it sums up exactly how i feel about Philadelphia, with the exception of "major love".

Philadelphia is like a friend that you can't really trust. s/he may treat you alright at times, but s/he treats others like shit and kisses others' asses. I don't approve, but I don't feel that I have the influence to do anything about this behavior. And, we've been friends long enough that I know changing hes behavior would be an uphill battle that I'd eventually lose.

So, my best option is simply to step off.

I'd planned to do it with little fanfare, yet not simply abandon the friends I've made here. Especially those who have evolved into authentic friends. But no big parties... but who knows.

So maybe 337 more days to go?
