I think every nomad has his own style and once I hit the road I'll have to find mine. It might become necessary for me to sleep in tents, on campgrounds or some such. I've probably still got enough military in me to rough it; also I've never really lived lavishly, but I have gotten used to the comforts of a roof over my head, an actual bed and food in the fridge. But I also imagine I can live off of dry food and the occasional fruits and vegetables. Plus I have lots of friends to visit.
The presenter of American Nomads was a British journalist, I guess, who was well off enough to drive around in a Toyota and rent a well furnished house in Tucson, Arizona. I imagine myself being a combination of him and the wall street guy... not impoverished, yet not traveling around with a film crew either. I do want to document my experiences, but don't want to lug a lot of equipment... so minis will be ideal. Who knows? Maybe it can grow into something.
Yesterday after Functional Fitness, I was totally in gypsy mode; Frank said I looked like I'd just walked out of the 60s, so I updated our selfie... got everything in focus this time. Thought I'd add it here. Frank is, again... probably my best friend from the Y, and a mentor.

Oh yeah, speaking of Y friends, I saw Mr. Aaron after a long time. He was asking me advice about getting back into shape. He got a replacement knee and has been out of the scene for a long while. He's close to 80. He asked if I was going to keep training when I left the area. He encouraged me, saying I had the personality for it. I hear that often enough to believe it's true.
I got a good workout in before I taught the class, then walked home and saw a family of deer in the woods. I got some footage, which will appear in my Vidizeen at some point. I wonder if I made up that word... doubtful.
That's all for now. Cheers. Almost down to 220 days. I release this beast at day 100, then everyone will know what I'm thinking... or was thinking at the time.
