Chasing the Dream

Just before my last birthday I was still ready to leave Philly, but I didn't have much of a plan. Of course my first stop would be my first born who lives in Florida. Second stop, Number One Son who was living in Arizona. I figured I'd spent 90 days with each of them.

Things change, so we have to be flexible. Number One Son relocated to California, so that's the second stop.

The day - or indeed the very night I landed in Singapore I met someone who could draw me back over there. We made a connection and that connection has grown stronger through text messages and

internet phone calls. I should mention I am no stranger to long distance relationships and I'm very good at ignoring temptation, (not that there's much here. Some, yes, but not much.) It will be very easy to leave here.

We will both be very different people the next time we meet and I expect those differences will make us more suitable to be together. I am daring to imagine this working out, mainly because one of the incantations I've been using for years, is; I won't stay here for a relationship, but will certainly leave for one. Looks like that might happen.
