George Carlin's bit about stuff really influenced me. I am a recovering "stuff" person and as little as i think I show emotion on the outside, I am sentimental about some of the stuff i have, especially the stuff my children made for me. So right now while I should be cleaning up, I am taking a moment to think abut what I'm going to get rid of what I'll have to keep in storage. The weights and fitness stuff

for sure. I know I may never come back to it. I want to get on and stay on the road - or at least settle far away from here, so I'll have to be practical about storage. Store it up with the foreknowledge that I may end up giving it up, rather than storing it perpetually.
The entertainment stuff will be easy. I gave most, if not all of my video tapes to my neighbor and I'll follow up this the DVD collection as well. As a collector - and not a very sophisticated collector - I keep shyt just to have it. I've seen most of the flicks and don't really have a desire to see them again. So I can give them away.
Okay, back to work, at least for another ten minutes.
